CAJA ESTILO VINTAGE PARA BELÉN

DECIDÍ PINTAR ESTA CAJA A BELÉN, PARA GUARDAR SUS CREACIONES DE JOYERÍA, YA QUE EL ALHAJERO QUE LE HICE ANTERIORMENTE CON ZAPATOS ANTIGUOS YA LO COMPLETÓ.

LE GUSTAN LAS JOYAS Y POR ESO DECIDIÓ HACER UN CURSO, HACE YA VARIOS AÑOS, EN EL SINDICATO DE JOYEROS Y RELOJEROS.

REALMENTE HACEN COSAS DE MUCHO DISEÑO, SIEMPRE EN PLATA, PORQUE EL ORO ES PROHIBITIVO POR SU VALOR

LA CAJA LA PINTÉ ESTILO VINTAGE, QUE ESTÁ MUY DE MODA TANTO EN LOS OBJETOS, VAJILLA COMO EN TELAS DE DECORACIÓN.

LA PINTÉ EN BLANCO, LUEGO ENCINTÉ LOS LATERALES, PARA PINTAR RAYAS ROSAS VIEJO, EN LA TAPA UNA GUARDA DE ROSAS A MANO ALZADA Y ALGUNAS FLORES SILVESTRES TAMBIÉN ROSADAS, LA IDEA ERA HACER ALGO ROMÁNTICO Y ANTIGUO.

LUEGO LE DÍ UNA LEVE LIJADA PARA QUE PARECIERA VIEJA Y ALGO DESCASCARADA, Y LA BARNICÉ CON BARNIZ ACRÍLICO, LA DEJÉ SECAR Y LA PATINÉ CON BETÚN DE JUDEA Y CERA, EN LOS BORDES Y LAS ESQUINAS, CREO QUE EL EFECTO ANTIGUO QUEDÓ LOGRADO.

Y POR ÚLTIMO PINTE EN ROSA FUERTE LAS INICIALES DE MARÍA BELÉN, Y LE PUSE BARNIZ TRIDIMENSIONAL, PARA QUE FUESE LO QUE  SE DESTACA DE TODA LA CAJA.

OTROS CREACIONES DE BELÉN

Y ESTA POESÍA QUE APRENDÍ EN INGLÉS CUANDO APENAS TENÍA 12 AÑOS Y NO TENÍA PARA MÍ EL SENTIDO QUE LE ENCUENTRO AHORA A LOS 54. ESPERO LA DISFRUTEN

SI
Puedes conservar tu cabeza, cuando a tu rededor
todos la pierden y te cubren de reproches;
los demás hombres y ser igualmente indulgente para su duda;
Si puedes esperar, y no sentirte cansado con la espera;
por eso, ni demasiado bueno, ni demasiado cuerdo;

SI
Puedes soñar sin que los sueños, imperiosamente te dominen;
Si puedes pensar, sin que los pensamientos sean tu objeto único;
de la misma manera a esos dos impostores;

Si puedes obligar a tu corazón, a tus fibras y a tus nervios,

SI
Puedes hablar con multitudes y conservar tu virtud,
o alternar con reyes y no perder tus comunes rasgos;
Si nadie, ni enemigos, ni amantes amigos,
pueden causarte daño;
Si todos los hombres pueden contar contigo,
pero ninguno demasiado;
con el valor de los sesenta segundos de la distancia final;

IF
Rudyard Kipling

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Rudyard Kipling
